Resident centenarians, left to right: Inez Reivitt, Ruth Cook, Lucille Reynolds, Flora Ridgeway, Rose Maurello and Eleanor Medill

On June 20, 2018, Life Care Center of Pueblo, Colorado, held a special celebration for its residents who have reached age 100 or older.

The six centenarians received corsages, tiaras and plaques commemorating the occasion, while surrounded by their family members and fellow residents. Guests enjoyed a birthday cake, and Keith Jackson, executive director, said something nice about each lady as he presented her with her certificate.

The honorees were Rose Maurello (105), Lucille Reynolds (104), Flora Ridgeway (103), Eleanor Medill (101), Inez Reivitt (100) and Ruth Cook (100).

“It was nice that they acknowledged us all,” said Ridgeway.

“We associates believe it is very humbling to have so much knowledge, wisdom and life experience surrounding us,” said Peggy Latham, social services director.
